Sandra M. Delgado DNP, FNP, PMHNP

Dr. Sandra M. Delgado is a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over nine years of experience.

She trained at Maryville University and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Miami Regional University. Throughout her career, she has worked in hospital settings, outpatient practices, and correctional facilities, gaining broad experience treating patients across diverse populations.

Her inspiration to pursue psychiatric care began while working closely with patients in distress as a psychiatric nurse. As a Family Nurse Practitioner in hospital settings, she observed how medical conditions and mental health challenges were often deeply intertwined. This realization shaped her calling to provide empathetic, validating, and integrative psychiatric care.

Dr. Delgado believes patients deserve to feel listened to, understood, and guided toward stability and healing. Her approach is holistic, collaborative, and individualized — never rushed. She is especially passionate about providing gentle, compassionate care that enhances quality of life for both patients and their families.
